“We started out as kids working here part time,” says Albert. “We learned the business from the ground up, working on pool cues, drilling bowling balls, or just whatever the boss asked us to do.”

Ernest came on board early, in 1958, while Albert joined the team in 1978. In 1992, the pair jumped at the opportunity to buy the business. “We’re from two different eras, but that’s what makes our partnership click,” says Albert. “I handle the management and buying, while Ernest takes care of our customer service.”
