Covenant Classical School

sits on 54 acres in west Fort Worth and it’s a good thing they have so much land, because the school is growing fast. Founded in 1999 by a handful of families who wanted a classical Christian education for their children, Covenant now has 380 students enrolled K-12. The graduating class of 2016 had 11 students, and five of them were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Foundation, including one National Merit Scholar.

“We believe a classical Christian education is uniquely qualified to educate both the hearts and minds of young people. We are proud of our students’ academic achievements, but we are even more proud of the people they are becoming,” says Headmaster Eric Cook.

Covenant Classical School will host a Prospective Parent Night event on Tuesday, October 18, at 7 p.m. Parents are invited to come and learn more about the school, and meet Covenant’s faculty. The following day parents may tour the campus and observe classes during Open Campus event, Wednesday, October 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The school is located in west Fort Worth at I-30 and Chapel Creek. More information is available at the school’s website, www.covenantfw.org.

Keeping Up With the Joneses

6323 Camp Bowie Blvd #107

(Inside AriaSalt)

Fort Worth, TX 76116

Facebook & Instagram

With strong backgrounds in retail and wholesale, two friends who were frustrated with the lack of diversity in Fort Worth’s retail options started a pop up shop in private homes, but quickly found a permanent home inside AriaSalt Salt Therapy at 6323 Camp Bowie Blvd in The Village at Camp Bowie shopping center.

Keeping Up With the Joneses is a small boutique with carefully curated fashions designed for the socially active Fort Worth woman who likes to look polished and pulled together with very little effort. They also carry jewelry and accessories from local designers and fun, unique gift items. Quality is key and the majority of the lines carried are made in the USA.

Bright colors, fun prints along with classic items can be found throughout the space and their limited quantities ensure you won’t see yourself all over town. Multi-generational styles and items are very important to these native Fort Worthians. Although owners Alice & Judy target women over 40, their daughters (a high school senior and a young executive) wear the clothing and send their friends and colleagues in to shop as well.  Active in many community organizations, clubs as well as their churches, they “get” the Fort Worth lifestyle because they live it!  With this new boutique in Fort Worth, it’s easier than ever to keep up with the Joneses.
